Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done Complexion Perfector

I'd like to introduce you to my new favourite base. We haven't been together very long but oh boy has it been a whirlwind romance.

Described as an all in one it has the benefits of a foundation and all the goodness and coverage of a tinted moisturiser. The coverage is most definitely sheer but evens out the skin tone surprisngly well so it's easily worn as a stand alone base product. It covers and evens redness but dark circles, blemishes, scars etc are still very apparent. It's breathable, weightless and truly a lovely, yet easy, base to work with.

Packed with peptides and vitamins and the ability to minimise pores this has shot straight into my everyday make up. I have been really enjoying wearing this and always have it on hand for lazy, carefree make up days. It applies beautifully with a beauty blender, brush or just your hands and is easy peasy to blend. I've never experienced it being streaky, or patchy and it lasts around 8-9 hours with only slight fading around areas I tend to get more oily. Talking of oil, this is not the greatest at controlling it. You will shine like a star by the end of the day if you have oily skin so make sure to use a powder with it. I don't think any skin type should be worried about this though as I think it can be made to work for everyone. It's so light that I can see it being very adaptable no matter if you have dry, combo, oily etc skin.

If it's a smooth, fresh, natural look you want then meet your new best friend. I'm most definitely a fan and highly recommend it.

What's your favourite foundation right now? Have you tried this?

  1. This sounds so good! I always worry with tinted moisturisers that I won't get a good enough coverage but this one sounds okay! I think I need to try xo

  2. I have never thought of trying out a tinted moisturizer. I always either wear full coverage foundation or powder only. I may have to give this one a try as my skin is dry... Great post!

  4. I love that this is more of a light weight coverage as I hate wearing foundation because they are usually quite heavy! I will definitely be picking this up :)

  5. Hi Aimey, Ooh I want to try this! I do like quite a bit of coverage when it comes to my foundation, but I bet this would be perfect for the summer. Great post and I love your little ring dish :)
