Beauty Haul #1

I'm going on a little trip to Berlin in a couple of weeks and I used it as an excuse to replenish some of my old favourite beauty products and whilst doing so, I accidentally (totally on purpose) added a few other bits to my make up mountain too.

Firstly, the thing that I am most excited about, is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in That Glow. This palette is so gorgeous I've barely been able to stop staring at it. I am super duper excited to try this out and I really, really hope it lives up to the hype. Another ABH purchase was an oldie but a goodie - the Brow Wiz. This is definitely my greatest love for all things eyebrows and I can't be without it. There are at least 2 in my collection at all times. And the last thing that was in my Cult Beauty order is the Pixi Glow Tonic. I've, surprisingly, never tried this but with all the buzz around glowing skin at the moment I thought there wouldn't be a better time to introduce this into my skin care routine.

The Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint has been on the top of my to buy list since it launched. I am a HUGE fan of Nars foundations and as an oily skin gal this seems right up my street. I'll be testing this out as soon as possible and I'll get back to you with a review a-snap. The Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani blush palette looks b-e-autiful. After loving the eyeshadow palette so much I was eager to get my make up obsessed hands on this. I have high expectations but Urban Decay rarely disappoints - thankfully. And lastly for beauty is a nail varnish by Essie called Birthday Suit. A couple of posts ago I was talking about how much I love nude & neutral nails at the moment and as I was shopping through your recommendations I came across this which is one of my all time favourites. It's such a pretty, simple shade that I am extremely pleased they brought back in their retro collection. If you love nude nails too, I would highly suggest it.

Kind of a random addition to this haul is the make up bag but I am so obsessed with it I couldn't leave it out. I am so in love with tropical, leafy prints at the moment and as soon as I saw this on ASOS I added to my basket without a hint of hesitation. It's from a brand called Mi-Pac which I've never seen before but I'll certainly be having a look the next time I'm need of a new make up bag.

p.s - just in case you noticed, all of my comments have been deleted and i couldn't be more annoyed about it. god damn you disqus :(

What have you picked up recently?

  5. I'm really tempted by the ABH Glow kit as well; Pixi glow tonic is one of my all time favorite skincare item, I always have it somewhere in my bathroom, it gently exfoliates the skin and, when I first started using I could actually see an improvement on my skin!
