Topshop Glow Highlighters - Gleam & Polish

Topshop have done it again. I couldn't be more in love with their make up if I tried.

Topshop Glow Cream Highlighters polish & gleam £10

I've always avoided cream highlighters for fear of them clashing horribly with my oily skin but I couldn't of been more wrong - at least when it comes to the formula of these anyway. They feel so light and blend SO incredibly beautifully into the skin. They are the perfect "natural glow" that can easily be intensified if you wanted to. They don't feel greasy or sticky at all and work just as well applied under or over foundation.

Polished, although described as a white, is to me more of a pale champagne shade with an icy pink tone. It's gorgeous on paler skin tones but isn't too harsh and icy that it wouldn't work well for a multitude of complexions. Gleam is a true warm bronze shade and is utterly stunning. It blends out to leave a golden sheen which is as buildable as you want to make it. I tend to use Gleam more than Polished just because I prefer that warmer, summery glow (despite the season) and I find it a little more flattering on my skin tone.

The shimmer in them isn't over powering at all. They give more of glowy sheen to the skin and it is bloody gorgeous. I wish they did more shades as I'd buy them immediately. The formula is incredible.

What's your favourite highlighter? Are you a fan of cream highlighters?

  1. Polished looks like my kind of shade! I have oily skin and find alot of cream highlighters don't work right for my skin. I haven't tried much makeup from Topshop but I need to!

  2. I never really steered towards cream highlighters but I got Gleam and it completely changed my mind, it gives such a lovely glow without looking cakey. I need to pick up Polished when I'm next in Topshop!
