WIDT #2

Last Saturday I went and was a tourist in my own city and it was pretty great. Living so close to central London has made me unappreciative of just how great it can be. So often I'm in and out, ready to avoid the busyness of it all but it was bloody lovely to spend the day wondering around in great company snapping pictures all over the place.

First off we went to Covent Garden to have a look at the new Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks. After being kind of underwhelmed with how sheer they were we strolled down to the new Nars store, where I was much less disappointed, and picked up the Long Hot Summer palette. (It'll  will be in a haul over the next couple of days and spoiler alert - it's beautiful).

After a couple of pictures of Liberty flowers (I just can't not take pictures of them, I'm sorry) we hopped on the tube to Westminster.

We walked round enjoying a rare moment of London sunshine, accidentally bumped into a Brexit protest and sat on the grass hungrily staring at the Snog bus.

Back on the tube to Chelsea. Surprisingly I have never spent much time in Chelsea. It's such a lovely part of London although unfortunately really inconvenient for me to get to but I'd really like to spend more time there. Even if it is just to gawk at all the beautiful houses. After a quick Starbucks stop we were back on the tube to Oxford Street.

We had a walk through Carnaby street which is impossible to do without popping into the Benefit store. I didn't end up getting anything after just buying almost their entire new brow collection but it was nice to pop in to look at the pretty. I mean how adorable are the balloons?!

And then the last stop was Humming Bird Bakery. I couldn't get anything as they don't serve any vegan alternatives, but thankfully my cake need was fulfilled from Lola's cupcakes. If I could've had something, me and that rainbow cake would have had a great old time.

What did you get up to last weekend? What do you think of 'diary'-esque posts?
