Well my no spend January has gone well.. This isn't more of a wishlist than a "here is what I've ordered and is on it's way to my front door as we speak". Fashion in the middle of Winter and Spring is my favourite. I know that it's an incredibly niche window in the fashion world but I love the dark colours, understated prints, that sunglasses are on their way back and, most of all, ankle boots. The boots pictured are from New Look and I love them. I've actually not only bought these ones but also the exact same boots in the navy version. I admittedly have a weakness when it comes to ankle boots but I'm okay with it, the more the merrier right? 

The jacket from River Island is lovely and I can see it being a fan with a whole bunch of people. Not only is this colour gorgeous but it comes in a dark green which I think is incredible. I don't think I have ever seen another jacket like it and can see it being a great statement piece in anyone's wardrobe but easily transferable to an everyday, more casual look. The dress from Topshop I think is equally something you can dress up or down but I just really liked the print. It's simple but still enough to break up the black and as someone who wears black 90% of the time, I appreciate pieces that add some colour.

I've just done a huge clear out of my wardrobe, made loads of room, everything feels so much tidier and to celebrate - I'm buying more clothes. Backwards logic is the story of my life so I'm not going to try and justify it, neither am I going to apologise for the lack of colour in this wishlist because it's Autumn and finally I'm allowed to wear black 90% of the time and no one ask me if someone's died.

Not being a huge fan of the whole 70's thing that's happening in the fashion world at the moment, there isn't a great deal that appeals to me. Having said that I've still managed to buy almost an entire new wardrobe and despite this being a wishlist, more than half of it is already sitting on my bedroom floor.

Out of all of these pieces the stand out for me is definitely the dress. It's a beautiful a line shape and I love the detailing on the hem. I think a pleather dress is quite an acquired taste, but I love it. Having completely planned Christmas already, yes I'm one of those people - don't judge me, my brain is already on New Years. I've spotted a Whistles dress that I'm seriously contemplating dishing out £200 for but this one from Topshop is a great contender.

Ankle Boots Wishlist

I bloody well love a good pair of ankle boots. You most likely won't see me without them as soon as the leaves change to magical shades of yellow and brown. They are the perfect addition to an A/W wardrobe and here are a few of the ones that are currently sitting pretty in my wishlist. 

I have 6 pairs already but variety is the spice of life and in an ideal world I would love to have a pair for every outfit in my wardrobe.

Autumn Fashion Wishlist

I don't know about you but I couldn't be happier that September is finally here. Not only does that mean that Christmas is only 3 months away but we are soon to be overwhelmed in choices of ankle boots and hundreds of shades of burgundy.

I love everything about Autumn, but the fashion in particular. Dark colours make up most of my wardrobe all year round anyway so when stores are stocked full of them, I'm in absolute heaven. 

These are a few of my choices I've found on my annual hunt for my winter wardrobe. I'm really in love with these button up skirts, I've seen them in lots of variations of brown but I think this black one would go with more, especially from my wardrobe. You can't go wrong with a bit of monochrome!

Topshop Wishlist

Topshop is definitely my favourite high street store. Despite some of the pricing being a little questionable sometimes they always keep up with the current trends and most of their items are great quality.

I put this together as I was looking through their website lusting after things that will be long sold out before I can afford to have a big splurge again.
I would apologise for my boring taste in clothing but if you've been here for more than 5 minutes you'll already know that i'm all about monochrome and simple fashion.
