I buy stuff for my bedroom far too often. It's almost every week that I'm picking up bits and pieces to fill every shelf or to decorate my desk. Being a blogger does seem to justify some purchases though - you can never have too many props!

As me and my boyfriend are planning to move later this year I have been eagerly collecting home decor stuff as well as boring things, like storage boxes and tea towels (that I won't bore you with) and when I have enough of a selection of things I'll be doing a haul, but for now, here a few bits that are sitting in baskets waiting to be bought.

I am LOVING gold accessories at the moment. I'm a little bit over copper but I think there will always be a place in my heart for it. The theme I'm trying to go for is white with splashes of gold and pops of colour with a butt tonne of plants everywhere. Who knows if it'll look good but I'm gonna try!

My Bedroom

Designing a space is always a work in progress or it is for me anyway because my taste changes so often but, in my frequent boredom, I always turn to decor items to mix things up. This really isn't so much a tour rather than a look at what bits and pieces I've bought to design my room at the moment. As you can probably tell my style is very mismatched but I enjoy the mix of themes, patterns, colours etc. I like to think it adds character but I'm aware it could just as easily look like a pile of complete poop. To each their own I guess!

I will most likely end up doing several of these posts as I really do change it all the time but I hope you find it interesting or it at the very least gave you some inspiration if you're thinking of changing things up at the moment too!

It's that time again when I'm getting bored with everything so, to satisfy my burning desire for change, I'm on the hunt for some adorable home decor.

The first place I always always look is H&M home. It's full of beautiful bits and bobs and I've been obsessed since I discovered it 2 years ago (or more?!). A recent discovery though, is tea and kate. It's full of everything I love, from notebooks to hanging chairs, it has it all. I find myself adding every single piece on their site to my wishlist and I'm always checking for new additions. I'd highly recommend having a look!

Home decor will always have a place on my blog. Designing a room and making a vision a reality is something I love, so as a result, I'm constantly browsing the home sections of websites or, even better, websites dedicated solely to scandinavian furniture and mini cacti.

Ikea is one of my all time favourite places to shop - I could literally spend days in there if it were possible. I'm going next weekend and I couldn't be more excited and in complete eager preparation I put together a list of all the things I wanted and here it is. Lists and home stuff in one post, I couldn't be more in my element!

I'm slowly making my way out of my monochrome Winter and bringing some colour into my life. I'm smitten with the pictures especially the one of the ever so chic pink lady. It is absolutely huge though and I'm not sure I have a whole wall to dedicate to it, unfortunately.
My favourite thing is the table mirror. I'm always trying to find a way to store my necklaces and I think my shorter ones will look great hanging off of it and plus I'm sure it would look adorable on any dressing table.

H&M Home Wishlist

Never did I think the day would come where I put a door mat in a wishlist. 

I've been a fan of H&M home for a while now but more recently have found myself adding literally everything to my basket. They are so on trend with all the copper and marble accessories and I so desperately and unnecessarily want it all. 

I think the marble plate and floral tray will make great backgrounds for blogging pictures and I'll leave you to find reasons for justifying buying the rest. So far all I've come up with is that I just want them. That's good enough right?

If you're as obsessed with home stuff as I am this will soon be your favourite place to shop, I guarantee it.

Nail Polish Storage

Since moving this year and decorating more times than I can count I've been looking for ways to
store things in more practical (yet inventive) ways.
I used to have all my nail polishes in a draw or displayed beautifully on a shelf but I have no room to do either of those anymore so I thought I'd share with you a way that I've found that looks great and is pretty much as practical as it gets.

The jars are from H&M home, which may possibly be my most favourite thing in the world right now, and they're £6.99 each link. They're pretty big too so if you're a complete nail varnish addict like I am then these are perfect for you. They also just look nice as decoration on a dressing table - I usually have these on a shelf above my make up storage (aka Alex) and they look lovely.

I'm really getting in to home stuff recently and I'll hopefully be giving you a tour of my bedroom in January.
