As me and my boyfriend are planning to move later this year I have been eagerly collecting home decor stuff as well as boring things, like storage boxes and tea towels (that I won't bore you with) and when I have enough of a selection of things I'll be doing a haul, but for now, here a few bits that are sitting in baskets waiting to be bought.

I am LOVING gold accessories at the moment. I'm a little bit over copper but I think there will always be a place in my heart for it. The theme I'm trying to go for is white with splashes of gold and pops of colour with a butt tonne of plants everywhere. Who knows if it'll look good but I'm gonna try!

I feel like the choice of things for gifts this year is unbelievable. Usually I have trouble getting a list together but this year I had to cut it down a lot.

The Hourglass palette is on the top of my list. There are so many products I want to try from the brand but from all the praises it's got it seems like this palette is a good choice to start with and plus, it's just beauuutiful!

The rose gold & peach watch by the fifth watches I actually already know is already wrapped up under the tree for me but I wanted to share it with you. I haven't seen or heard anything from this brand and actually discovered it scrolling through Pinterest and fell in love. They have some lovely, simple designs that come in at around £70 which, I think, is pretty reasonable for a watch as gorgeous as it is.

Everything else is a mismatch of things that I've really wanted for a while. I've never tried anything from Jo Malone so this sampler set of fragrances seemed like the perfect introduction. The Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay collaboration palette obviously hasn't been on my wishlist for too long considering it's a recent release, but as soon as I saw it on the Urban Decay's Instagram my heart skipped a beat. I need it in my life as soon as possible. As for everything else I could give you reasons as to why they would improve my life and explain justified excuses but let's face it, they're just pretty and I want them and what better reason is there?!

It's that time again when I'm getting bored with everything so, to satisfy my burning desire for change, I'm on the hunt for some adorable home decor.

The first place I always always look is H&M home. It's full of beautiful bits and bobs and I've been obsessed since I discovered it 2 years ago (or more?!). A recent discovery though, is tea and kate. It's full of everything I love, from notebooks to hanging chairs, it has it all. I find myself adding every single piece on their site to my wishlist and I'm always checking for new additions. I'd highly recommend having a look!

Home decor will always have a place on my blog. Designing a room and making a vision a reality is something I love, so as a result, I'm constantly browsing the home sections of websites or, even better, websites dedicated solely to scandinavian furniture and mini cacti.

Ikea is one of my all time favourite places to shop - I could literally spend days in there if it were possible. I'm going next weekend and I couldn't be more excited and in complete eager preparation I put together a list of all the things I wanted and here it is. Lists and home stuff in one post, I couldn't be more in my element!

I'm slowly making my way out of my monochrome Winter and bringing some colour into my life. I'm smitten with the pictures especially the one of the ever so chic pink lady. It is absolutely huge though and I'm not sure I have a whole wall to dedicate to it, unfortunately.
My favourite thing is the table mirror. I'm always trying to find a way to store my necklaces and I think my shorter ones will look great hanging off of it and plus I'm sure it would look adorable on any dressing table.

H&M Home Wishlist

Never did I think the day would come where I put a door mat in a wishlist. 

I've been a fan of H&M home for a while now but more recently have found myself adding literally everything to my basket. They are so on trend with all the copper and marble accessories and I so desperately and unnecessarily want it all. 

I think the marble plate and floral tray will make great backgrounds for blogging pictures and I'll leave you to find reasons for justifying buying the rest. So far all I've come up with is that I just want them. That's good enough right?

If you're as obsessed with home stuff as I am this will soon be your favourite place to shop, I guarantee it.

Christmas Wishlist 2014

I actually find it really difficult to get a list together for what I want for Christmas, despite finding things I want all year when December rolls around suddenly I don't need anything. But after many, many hours of online shopping I've narrowed it down to this.. and another double sided A4 page.


My list is pretty beauty heavy this year with the Nars palette being the shining star. I can't even express how much I want this in my life. It is beautiful. Santa, (aka boyfriend) I hope you're listening.

The Nails Inc set is on sale at the moment on Asos at 50% off making it £29, so if it's on your list too then now's the time to buy it! The colours are all really wearable as I find that more often than not with nail varnish sets that there's always a couple of weird shades, but this one looks great. And as a side note I also really love their new packaging, well done Nails Inc.

Origins Christmas sets are always amazing and this one is no different. Personally I think this is the best one this year. It has a little bit of everything which is great for people new to the brand or for people like me who want doubles of everything because they are a complete skin care addict. Either way I think it's a great buy for Christmas.

The Vogue print is my favourite thing in my entire list. I am absolutely in love with it. I'm redecorating my bedroom (again) and have been spending pretty much every evening lusting over prints and posters on Etsy and this has been sitting in my basket since I first saw it a couple of weeks
ago. I'll be a very happy bunny if this is under the tree on Christmas morning.
